Ballet IV: Spring 2020
Assists in the developing of gross motor skill such as running to leap
Builds self-esteem and self-confidence
Reduces stress with an inward focus, stretching and controlled breathing
Age Range/Division Length
8th Grade and up. Division Length: 1+ years.
Prerequisite
Minimum 3 years of ballet in Academy levels.
Season/Date Range
Spring: January 27 – June 21, 2020
Performances
Ballet Recital June 6th
Performance rehearsal during class time: Nutcracker Ballet & June Recital
Additional performance rehearsal outside of class time: AFB Repertory Theatre Rehearsals: Nutcracker Character Role and/or Waltz of the Flowers.
Attire
Class Leotard (information given on 1st day), pink ballet shoes and tights, tan tap shoes, hair in bun.
Level Recommendations
2 Ballet classes (IV and III/IV) with a Pre-Pointe or Pointe class are recommended. 6-8 Semesters of Ballet IV are required for advancement into Ballet V.
